Suitcases are all too often just a weight you need to drag around. Today, thanks to the new partnership between Pirelli and Montblanc, united by the passion for high tech innovation, luggage becomes the perfect, attractive and reliable travel companion.
AN INNOVATIVE PARTNERSHIP
After the first collection in 2019, Pirelli and Montblanc are once again joining forces, combining their creativity to come up with new super-light carry-on luggage, with high-performance wheels produced in partnership with Pirelli engineers, designed for all those travellers who expect efficiency, durability and comfort from their luggage. Compared to the classic Montblanc #MY4810, it is even quieter, thanks to the new bespoke tyre created in Pirelli's research and development laboratories.
The design is embellished by multiple splashes of red that not only colour the Pirelli P Zero logo on the miniature tyres, but also other precious details such as the personalised luggage label with iconic Pirelli artwork, the upper handle and the central band with the Montblanc logo, all made from a distinctive rubberised leather.
CHARACTERISTICS
Deeply rooted in mobility, Pirelli and Montblanc elevate their travel experience through innovation, manufacturing excellence and creative design. Among the main characteristics of the new trolley are the black polycarbonate structure with rubberised red leather trim and the wheels with ball bearings, fitted with tyres which reflect the asymmetrical tread pattern of the Pirelli P Zero high performance tyres.
The particular rubber compound with low abrasion characteristics also guarantees a longer tread life for a durability that's worthy of the most tireless travellers. The refined aesthetic styling is enhanced by certain details including the "Montblanc x Pirelli" signature engraved on the handle and the dynamic and sporty design of the miniature wheel's aluminium rim that mirrors the original design of a car's spoke wheel rim. Tickets, accessories, documentation can easily be stored in the various compartments inside the suitcase.

This new exclusive series has been produced together with Pirelli Design, the division of the group engaged in enhancing the value of the brand through design projects that combine Pirelli's know-how with the experience of outstanding partners. The aim is to create unique, iconic and one-of-a-kind products.
In this case, Montblanc was chosen as a symbol of excellence in craftsmanship and design, an expression of sophisticated style and performance and quality.
Montblanc x Pirelli #MY4810 will be a limited edition: only 3 thousand trolleys will be produced from November 2020.
